Meet the Owners
Troyer’s Dutch Market is proud to be family owned and operated by Jeff Hartzell and his daughter Jessica.
In 2021, when Jeff heard that Troyer’s Dutch Market might be closing its doors, he knew he couldn’t let that happen. What had become a beloved local gem in Perry Township deserved to stay right where it was — serving the community that had grown to love it. With the support of his family, Jeff stepped in to continue the market’s legacy and keep its doors open.
Jeff is no stranger to serving the community. A longtime small business owner in Northeast Ohio, he has spent years building businesses centered around quality food and genuine customer relationships. His experience in the food industry — including owning multiple pizza franchises and currently operating East of Chicago Pizza in Massillon — gave him the foundation to confidently carry Troyer’s into its next chapter.
Jessica works alongside her dad to help manage and grow the market, bringing fresh ideas while keeping the heart of the business intact. And on some days, you might even spot the youngest helper, Brooklynn, lending a hand — because around here, family truly means everyone.
Together, they’re committed to keeping Troyer’s Dutch Market a welcoming place where customers can find the foods they love, friendly faces behind the counter, and the kind of small-town service that keeps people coming back.
