Meet the Owners

Family owned and operated by Jeff Hartzell and his daughter Jessica.

When Jeff heard about Troyer’s Dutch Market possibly closing in 2021, he knew he had to jump on the opportunity to keep this small gem in the community. With help from his daughter Jessica – and sometimes even his granddaughter Brooklynn, this family owned business was able to stay in Perry Township and continue to bring the taste of Holmes County to the Canton-Massillon area.

Our friendly staff provides you with top-notch service that can’t be beat. Need help or having trouble finding what you need? Need your deli meats or cheeses sliced a particular way? It’s not a problem – any one of our team members can help you find just what you’re looking for. We treat each other like family and believe that it is possible to work and still have fun.

Can I call ahead to pre-order?

Yes of course! Give us a call when you’re ready to order and we’ll have everything ready for you when you arrive. Ask about our curbside pickup when you call – and we’ll bring your order out to you.

Do you offer delivery?

Unfortunately we do not offer delivery services, however we do offer curbside pickup. Call ahead to order, then call again when you arrive at the store and we’ll bring your order out for you. Available during normal business hours.

Where do you get your deli meats and cheeses?

Our deli meats and cheeses are provided by Walnut Creek Foods.

Where do your baked goods and pies come from?

Our pies are made by Troyer’s Home Pantry and our baked goods are made by Village Bakery.

Do you carry sugar-free pies?

No. Troyer’s Home Pantry doesn’t make any sugar free pies.
