Baked Good FAQs
Where are your baked goods and pies made?
At Troyer’s Dutch Market, we take pride in offering high-quality baked goods and pies made by local brands from Ohio’s Amish Country. Our delicious selection comes from trusted names like Troyer’s Home Pantry, Village Bakery, and Kauffman’s Country Bakery. Each item is crafted with care and tradition to bring you fresh, homemade flavors that you’ll love. From flaky pies to soft, moist cakes, you can taste the dedication to quality in every bite.
Do you carry sugar-free pies?
Troyer’s Dutch Market carries a limited selection of no sugar added (NSA) pies made by Kauffman’s Country Bakery. You’ll often find NSA Apple and NSA Cherry pies available in both 6-inch and 9-inch sizes. Selection may vary, so feel free to call or stop in to see what’s in stock.
Do your baked goods contain nuts?
While some items may not have nuts baked into them, most of our baked goods are produced in a kitchen that also uses nut ingredients. For further health information regarding these products, please refer to the nutrition label appended to the product packaging or contact Troyer’s Home Pantry or Village Bakery (or other relevant supplier) directly for more information.
What is the shelf life of your baked goods?
Most of our baked goods are best enjoyed within a few days of purchase. To extend freshness, we recommend refrigerating or freezing items you won’t eat right away. This helps preserve taste and texture, especially for items like pies, breads, and desserts.
Are your pies available year-round?
Most pies from Troyer’s Home Pantry are available year-round, though some flavors—like Strawberry and Strawberry Cheesecake—are seasonal. In-store availability may vary, so we recommend calling ahead to check stock or to place an order.
Kauffman’s Bakery pies are pre-order only, so be sure to plan ahead if you’d like one of their specialty options.
What’s the best way to make sure I get my favorite pie?
To make sure you get your favorite pie, we recommend calling ahead to check availability or place a hold. Our pies, especially seasonal or specialty flavors, can sell out quickly—so reserving one is the best way to ensure it’s waiting for you when you arrive.
Tray FAQs
How far in advance should I order a party tray?
We recommend placing your order at least 24–48 hours in advance, especially during busy seasons like holidays and graduation time. Larger orders may require additional notice. If you’re in a time crunch, give us a call — we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
How many people does each tray size serve?
Each tray listing includes an estimated serving range to help guide your decision. If you’re unsure which size is right for your group, our team can help you determine the best option based on your guest count and event type.
Can I choose my own meats and cheeses?
Yes. Many of our trays allow you to select your preferred meats and cheeses. If you have specific requests or dietary considerations, please call ahead to confirm availability.
Are party trays prepared fresh?
Absolutely. All trays are prepared fresh to order using quality deli meats, cheeses, and toppings. We do not pre-make trays in advance — your order is assembled specifically for your event.
Do trays come ready to serve?
Yes. All trays are arranged and ready to serve at pickup. Simply remove the lid and place it on your table.
Where do I pick up my order?
Party trays are available for pickup at Troyer’s Dutch Market in Massillon. We proudly serve customers throughout Massillon, Canton, and the surrounding Stark County area.
